For this pack, Z lovecraft has sampled his Yamaha QY20, used by the likes of Bjork, Autechre, PJ Harvey & D-Influence. The QY20 is an all-in-one so called band-in-a-box, a precursor to Roland's 'groovebox' concept which was responsible for a lot of the 90s dance music which we know and love today. With only 4 tracks within its pattern sequencer, its limitations were surpased by a tight sequencer, rapid workflow and classic 80s style sounds.

This pack is a must for anyone exploring 80s style boogie, funk, balearic and disco production, with some stunning lofi drums and melodic sounds perfect for any house, electro or industrial producer.

The samples have been processed through a vintage Boss BX-800 mixer, known for its lofi quality and sublime saturation.
