For our next sample pack, Holloway hands in 140 samples from his tried and tested AKAI S3000XL sampler; a 90s staple that was the sound of UK Garage, Jungle/d'n'b, future jazz and of course Tech House (before it became eurotrash). With astoungingly musical D/A and A/D conversion, and a whole heap of ways to process your sounds, this sampler became highly sought after and was valued for the incredible quality of its filters, alongside the punchy envelopes essential for dance music. Satisfaction guaranteed thanks to the magic in the AKAI research and development lab back in the 90s, who were responsible for the sonic progression of sample based electronic music.

Holloway has blown up bass bins across the world via acclaimed releases on underground labels such as Dr. Banana, timeisnow (Shall Not Fade's white label imprint) and instinct. A true innovator of UKG, slick and deft production retaining the original vibe that shaped the sound of UK dancefloors at the turn of the millennium.
